During 8-13 November, 2014 Embassy of Poland in Jakarta and the leading Polish universities took part in the 6th edition of the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF 2014) in Jakarta, Surabaya (East Java) and Makassar (South Sulawesi). Fair brought together dozens of exhibitors and attracted a total of several thousand young Indonesians who consider studying in Europe.
There are already 36 thousand foreign students at the Polish universities, among them nearly one thousand students from Turkey.
Poland’s booth was among the highlights of the eight edition of the higher education fair "Study in Europe" which was held on Saturday, 27th September at Suntec Convention Centre Singapore. Organised by the EU Delegation to Singapore, “Study in Europe” fair aims to provide students, parents and teachers with comprehensive information on Europe's higher education landscape.
Nearly 250 debates, panels, workshops and networking sessions devoted to the global challenges facing higher education were included in the programme of annual EAIE (European Association for International Education) conference, which is the largest European meeting of experts in the field of higher education. The theme of the conference was 'Stepping into a new era', marking the significant transformations of the international education field.

With nearly 10,000 members, NAFSA: Association of International Educators is the world's largest nonprofit association dedicated to international education.
On 16-18 May 2014 a third edition of the European Higher Education Fair took place in Tokyo and Kyoto. More than two thousands visitors took part in this year’s fair.
Young citizens of Saudi Arabia are increasingly willing to study in Poland. They are currently one of the fastest growing groups of foreign students enrolled in tertiary education in Poland. Last week top Polish universities presented their offer in Saudi Arabia.

On 20 March the Polish delegation has been welcomed by Consul General in Curitiba Mr. Marek Makowski. Subsequently, a meeting at the Pontifical Catholic University has been held (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, PUC).
Representatives of seventeen universities, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland and Foundation for the Development of Education System participated in the Polish educational mission to Brazil on 18-25 March. Polish mission to Brazil was organized in the framework of the Ministry of Science campaign "Ready, Study, Go! Poland", which, supports the internationalization of Polish universities since 2012.
