CEE is the largest education fair in China with the number of visitors exceeding 60,000 people. The exhibition was organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of the PRC and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE).

On the first day of the fair, MSHE in cooperation with the Polish embassy in Beijing organised an educational seminar on strengthening cooperation between Polish and Chinese educational institutions. The seminar’s goal was to explore the potential for bilateral cooperation between Polish and Chinese institutions of higher education, academic centres and research institutions. During the seminar both Polish and Chinese academic institutions had a unique opportunity to present attractive promotional programmes and introduce their study opportunities during B2B conversations. The event was attended by about 50 representatives of more than 20 Chinese  organisations related to science.

On the same day, Polish universities participated in the workshop Education B2B attended by more than 100 Chinese educational institutions. The event presented another opportunity for universities to explore new cooperation programs with Chinese institutions besides student recruitment. B2B was organised as a school-to-school workshop for exhibitors keen on cooperative programs between Chinese institutions. The target programs involved higher education, vocational education, continuing education, training programs, high school programs etc.

Tadeusz Chomicki , the Polish ambassador in Beijing inaugurated the Polish national stand on 2 November. The Polish offer was presented during the fair by the University of Lodz, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poznań University of Economics, Warsaw University of Technology, Wroclaw University of Technology, the Medical University of Gdansk, Lazarski University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Polish universities of today are open to international contacts and receiving students from abroad. The English language offer of Polish universities is getting broader and increasingly interesting. One also has to mention that a Polish university diploma is recognized in the entire European Union. On the other hand more and more young Poles are interested in either learning about the Chinese culture and language or studying in China.
