Easier recognition of professional qualifications acquired abroad

Simpler procedures for the recognition in Poland of professional qualifications acquired abroad and introduction of a European professional card in Poland are envisaged by the law signed on January 7 by President Andrzej Duda.

The law adjusts Polish law to EU directive on the recognition of professional qualifications. It also ensures application of EU regulation on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System IMI. The new provisions will facilitate the flow of personnel, employees within the European Union.

Easier to confirm education for foreigners

Foreigners will find it easier nostrify a diploma or continue their studies in Poland. Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced that they published a regulation to that effect. The new law may also benefit refugees.

As previously announced, on Thursday the Ministry of Science and Higher Education published a new regulation on the recognition of higher education diplomas obtained abroad and on confirmation of higher education at a certain level.

China Education Expo 2013 in Beijing

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MSHE) took part in the largest education fair in China – China Education Expo (CEE ). Information about Polish universities and information about the system of higher education in Poland were presented on 1-3 November at the stand READY, STUDY, GO! POLAND prepared by the ministry.

CEE is the largest education fair in China with the number of visitors exceeding 60,000 people. The exhibition was organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of the PRC and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE).
