Description: 

The Masters in Intercultural Communication & New Media at Collegium Civitas is an education program through which students gain a broad understanding of multiple issues in contemporary media and communication in addition to the influence they have on modern societies. This 2-year, full-time Masters Degree Course is interdisciplinary in nature, and focuses on cultural dimensions of contemporary media, particularly on the social aspects of new technologies for communication. Students gain both practical and theoretical knowledge necessary for careers in contemporary media sphere.

This specialization will help students to inter alia:

  • gain awareness of the interaction between international organizations and institutions rooted in various cultures
  • understand and apply strategies for effective intercultural communication 
  • analyze and make conclusions based on critical understanding of key events in international politics
  • acquire a sound knowledge and competent interpretation of the discipline of communication and media
  • critically assess data, information and ideas 
  • develop a greater comprehension of key methods of communication in a globalized world
