Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil invited Polish Embassy to the National Week of Science and Technology. The representatives of Polish Embassy presented materials on science and higher education in Poland, as well as offers of various universities located in Poland.
On March 23, members of the Polish educational mission met with the Polish community in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting was also attended by Mrs. Dorota Bogutyn, First Secretary and Consul at the Polish Embassy in Brazil. On 20 March the Polish delegation has been welcomed by Consul General in Curitiba Mr. Marek Makowski. Subsequently, a meeting at the Pontifical Catholic University has been held (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, PUC).
Representatives of seventeen universities, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland and Foundation for the Development of Education System participated in the Polish educational mission to Brazil on 18-25 March. Polish mission to Brazil was organized in the framework of the Ministry of Science campaign "Ready, Study, Go! Poland", which, supports the internationalization of Polish universities since 2012.
Meetings with students and authorities of the leading Brazilian universities are in the agenda of the Polish educational mission to Brazil. It will take place on 18-25 March. Members include the representatives of seventeen Polish universities and the Ministry of Science.
On 3 February 2014 representatives of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) met with Dr. Liane Hentschke, Director for International Cooperation of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) – the executive agency of the Brazilian government program “Science without Borders”. The Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil participated in the meeting.
