The programme is offered by the International Faculty of Engineering in cooperation with the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences.
Students enhance their competence in practical application of biology and chemistry in biotechnological techniques. The knowledge is appllied in organisms modification, creation of new food products and bioproducts as well as in carrying out important processes of biosynthesis and biotransformation.
Graduates can find their chances and apportunities in medicine, environmental protection, industry and agriculture. Thanks to their knowledge in chamistry, microbiology, biochemistry and in other engineering subjects they will be competent and skilled to design technological processes. Knowledge in the area of molecular biology, genetics enxymology and bioinformatics will increase the graduates profesisonal self-confidence in this interesting interdisciplinary domain.
