Description:

The programme is offered by the International Faculty of Engineering in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering.

It is a modern interdisciplinary programme combining knowledge in technical sciences, medicine and biology. The development of science in these domains results in rapid progress in medicine technologies. Modern medical apparatus and appliances as well as modern therapy methods are quite complex technically and it is essential for medical doctors to be assisted by highly specialised engineers.

Students gather knowledge in medical informatics, medical electronics, biomechanics and biomaterials. They also learn how to design, operate and maintain modern equipment as well as diagnostic and therapeutic systems based on electronic and numerical techniques and modern materials.

Graduates of the programme will be ready to cooperate with doctors and other medical staff.
