The list of documents certyfing candidate's proper knowledge of English: FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC 2, BEC (3), CEIBT - certificates issued by Univeristy Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (at least "pass"); IELTS (at least 6.5 points); TOEFL 500 in tests, at least 3.5 points in writing test (TWE) and 200 points in speaking exam (TSE) issued by Education Testing Service.

Description: 

Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz offers a 6-year MD Program in English at the Facility of Medicine which started in the academic year 2009/2010 with a group of students from Scandinavia. Currently there are almost 140 medical students from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, America, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia.

Our Medical Program in English is based on the plan of study for Polish students and all subject s are taught in English. The solid theoretical and practical background as well as academic knowledge gained during lectures and clinical classes allow our students to choose their future specialization according to their skills, abilities and interests.

Classes conducted in our two university hospitals, which are the base for educating, carrying out scientific research and providing highly specialized diagnostic medical and rehabilitation services allow our students to become familiar with modern technologies and use the latest medical equipment.

Mandatory preparatory course for 1st year students of 6-year MD Program in English takes place in September and lasts approximately four weeks. The course covers material of biology, chemistry and physics. In addition, the students have Polish classes where they acquire basics of the language. It is a great opportunity to refresh high school knowledge, meet new friends and learn about the university and the city.

At Collegium Medicum students not only receive sound medical knowledge but also pursue their hobbies, engage in charitable activities, made friends and simply have fun together.
