Candidates will be admitted according to the ranking list based on the results of the matriculation examination (so called “the new matura”) or the maturity exam (so called “the old matura”). Evaluation of old matura exams can be converted into points of the matriculation examination:

the scale with six steps,
-
the scale with four steps.
Number of points for the ranking is determined as the weighted average number of points corresponding to the results of the new matura or the old matura in subjects specific to the field of study.
The three year programme aims to provide students with the solid background of Computer Science and Econometrics, supported by the theoretical and experimental foundations of Mathematics and Statistics. The graduates are welcomed by educational institutions, programming companies, engineering and technological institutions.
The programme includes obligatory courses in Computer Programming, Databases, Information Systems Design, Information Technology Computer Science in Economics, Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, Econometrics, Mathematical Analysis and Operation Research, Practical Methods of Statistics, Descriptive and Economics Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Probability Theory.
The studies offer the following specialisations: Statistics and Econometrics, Business Analytics and also Information Systems. The students choose their specialisation after the first semester during which they participate in specialised courses.
During the last two semesters the students participate in monographic lectures, general and Bachelor’s thesis seminars.
At the end of the programme the students will write Bachelor’s theses and take a Bachelor’s examination.
