PROFILE - SHORT DESCRIPTION

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the most important and renowned higher education institutions in Poland offering top-quality interdisciplinary education. Students get involved in numerous research projects funded from EU grants. By the end of 2013, SWPS conducted 294 research projects worth of over 21 606 481 PLN. SWPS constantly aims at its internationalization and has signed over 100 inter-institutional agreements within various exchange programs such as Erasmus Plus, Atlantis and Santander Universidades and it has an extensive cooperation with universities in China, Korea and Vietnam. As well, students can spend a semester at the College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY. Multiple options of studying abroad give them an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience and to become aware of and tolerant to cultural diversity. Our efforts to provide our students with an environment and resources indispensable to fulfill their intellectual curiosity have been widely acknowledged in Poland, which is reflected in high ranking positions. Since 2007, SWPS has been ranked the best private social sciences and humanities university in the country. Its strong position has been confirmed by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) and by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
