The conditions of enrollment entail:
-an undergraduate diploma from an accredited University
-knowledge of English language confirmed by a test at B2 level or equivalent. Students for whom English was the language of instruction in previous stage of education, or is their mother tongue, are exempt from the obligation to provide the results of the test.
-compliance with the procedural requirements and administrative procedures specified for all the candidates for studies in English at the University of Wrocław published on the website of International Office www.international.uni.wroc.pl
-a positive opinion of the application by the faculty Coordinator
The documents should be submitted in the form of scans attached to an account created on the website www.international.uni.wroc.pl.
If the documents have been issued in another language they should be translated into English or Polish.
Speciality Tourism is an offer for English speaking students not only from the European Union but also from all over the word. The program of the studies comprises of two important tourist aspects i.e. spatial and economical. The first group of subjects refer to broadly understood tourist space seen in regional perspective concerning the most important tourist values of continents as well as chosen countries and regions with special focus on the area being the subject of the research tasks of the University. The second group of subjects is linked with the economical aspects of the free market tourism. Many of the subjects directly or indirectly ascribe to the contemporary tourism trends, indicating the directions of its development and preparing to functioning at this dynamically changing market. Some subjects pertain to the Polish language speciality however taking into account the specificity of the addressee the focus is slightly different (especially with regard to the students’ own work).
The graduate is especially competent in the field of the regional geography of tourism, starting with methodology to the wide knowledge of the most important tourist regions, the great touring centers and crucial, for the creation of the tourist offer, tourist attractions of Europe and the world.
After the studies the graduate is prepared to act on the tourist market in the institutions researching this market or in the units functioning on the market. His knowledge of fluent English is considered an additional asset that makes him more competitive on the job market.
The studies can be taken up by anyone who holds a bachelor’s degree.
