The Double Degree program is recognized a unique opportunity to study & work in two different countries, blending theoretical knowledge with practical experience in business environment of diverse cultures. The program is recommended for candidates with strong interest in international management, willing to take part in a regular study abroad (Germany), joining a large society of international students.

The Double Degree program lasts 4 years and requires 240 ECTS, as students are involved in the program in each country for a period of two years (earning 120 ECTS at each). The students study either the first or the second half of the program at the partner university (students fluent in German may start their study in ESB, those who need more language preparation - start at the JU). Good working knowledge of German, Polish and English are nevertheless the key requirements of this program.

An important element of the Double Degree study are two internships - each required by the involved university. First internship (of minimum 5 months) is held in business environment of the country students starts the study in. The separate, also one semester internship, is required in the country students complete the study in (see study options shown below):

1)     start in Germany à 2 year study at the ESB including 1 semester internship in German organization;

2)     start in Poland à 2 year study at the JU including 1 semester internship in Polish organization.

Courses taught during the program include: accounting , marketing, logistics, micro- and macro-economics, organizational behavior, finance, HRM, quality management, basics of law, negotiations, informatics in management, English, etc. Students prepare their bachelor thesis during the final year of the study, in the country they complete the program in.
