General characteristics of the Programme Biotechnology in English:
1. MSc studies embrace 4 semesters, and are concluded by awarding a student with a professional title ‘master in biotechnology’. The number of teaching hours is 1200, the number of ECTS points – 120;
2. students complete basic and advanced courses, according to the standards of teaching biotechnology;
3. during the first year of this programme, a student may begin to study Polish language;
4. a student is expected to prepare a Master’s thesis, which must contain an experimental part. The results of the MSc project are presented during an open meeting. Following a receipt of a positive appraisal of the thesis, the student takes a Master’s exam.
