Admission requirements: 

Admission criteria – the new secondary school leaving certificate (maturity certificate);
result of the exam in Polish language (basic or extended level - written part) of the secondary school leaving exam.

In case of the Polish citizens who completed a secondary school abroad, the citizens from the European Union countries and the citizens of the countries outside the European Union, who did not take the exam in Polish language, the Recruitment Committees will take into account the result of the native language exam of the country in which they completed the secondary school, in the admission procedure.

Graduate – upon successful completion of specialization – has theoretical and practical training, whereby he/she can follow a variety of professional occupations:
1.specialization: Civic Education: history and society teacher training, educator training for educational and social work institutions;
2. specialization: Nursery Teacher Training: small children nurturing and teaching;
3. specialization: Nursery and Primary School Teacher Training: nursery and primary school children teaching;
4. specialization: Social Education (teacher training): primary and secondary school children teaching;
5. specialization: Social Counselling: primary and secondary school children counselling;
6. specialization: Health Education: primary and secondary school children nurturing and teaching,
7. specialization: Social Education (non-teacher training) in English: social educator training for third sector, educational, and social work institutions/organizations
8. specialization: Civic Education (teacher training) in English: -  history and society teacher training, social educator training for civic society organizations,

Completing a Bachelor of Education enables the graduate to work for various educational institutions and within different educational context: social work, socio-cultural animation, nursery, primary and secondary schools, educational counselling, educational policy, continuing education and crime and social marginalization prevention. The specializations are developed for a particular purpose and area of knowledge and thus, they meet the academic and professional qualifications to teach. Therefore, every Graduate, based on his/her choice of specialization, achieves a high level of professional competence.     

Moreover, a Graduate is fluent in speaking and writing English (B2 level, according to the language standard test of the Council of Europe). He/she is computer-literate and skilled at computer software for educational purposes.

 

Professional qualifications:

Upon successful completion of this interdisciplinary specialization with qualified educator status training, the graduate shall be able to work for educational, social work, cultural and charity institutions, common rooms and dormitories. The graduate shall be able to find employment as an educational counsellor, adviser, or coach in public, local and third-sector organizations, as well as in other works.
