The final grades in all courses taken at higher education institution (college) (Transcript of Records and B.Sc. Diploma) for Master’s studies.
All documents submitted to the Silesian University of Technology must be in English or translated into Polish (by a sworn translator).
The documents must contain a clause confirming that their holders have access to higher education institutions in their own countries.
Certified command of English at level B1 is required, certficates: FCE (grade B), TOEFL (min 550) and TOIFCE (min 700) need not be confirmed by the home University. The language abilities may be also certified by home Universities.
Description:
Having completed courses at the Faculty of Chemistry, our graduates are well acquainted with general knowledge and understanding of chemical and technical processes and they are equipped with the necessary skills to use that knowledge in theit future careers as engineers and managers. Our graduates are prepared to take employment in chemical industry and related industries in all positions connected with organizing and supervising a production process.
Chemical engineering studies aim to prepare specialists in the field of chemical and process engineering for work in engineering contractor firms, technological centres, chemical manufacturing companies, processing plants, commercial firms and others.
The staff of the Faculty cooperates with many academic centres such as: Iowa State University, Kansas University of Lawrence, University in Trondheim, Universite de Rennes,
Universita La Sapienza and Universita di Bologna, University College London, University of Southern Denmark, Universities in Brunschweig and Heidelberg, Hubei Polytechnical
University, The Technical University of Kiev and The Technical University of Lvov, Vysoka Technicka Skola in Bratislava, Pamukkale University/Turkey/, National Research Center in Egypt.
