Description:

ADMINISTRATION, MAJORING IN CRIMINOLOGY AND RELATED SCIENCES IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS

This course, especially if taken part-time, can be chosen by officials already employed in  law and order institutions (e.g. police officers, border guards, military police officers, etc.), who continue their education having completed the 1st cycle studies in administration or similar courses. At present, there are no other options for such officials and many choose to study outside the University of Warmia and Mazury, in other academic towns, and enrol in courses connected with national security.
The major called Criminology and Related Sciences in Criminal Proceedings, as a 2nd cycle course at the Administration Studies, is an alternative option for educating specialists working in law and order institutions.
The studies can be carried out parallel for the 1st and 2nd-year students, i.e. one as part of ‘the foreign language curriculum path’ in agreement with the MRU in Vilnius (only full-time studies; two semesters of selected subjects in criminology, taught in English), and the other year as part of the regular education system, according to the same curriculum for full- and part-time studies, taught in Polish.
