SGH has the right to admit up to 5 students per year to the double degree program. Candidates should identify a certificate of GMAT (or equivalent score of GRE certificate) to be accepted into the program. Acceptance to the program will be decided by interview. The qualification to the double diploma programme with UOC is conditional; the final qualification depends on the fact if the candidate will be accepted to full time master studies on either management or International Business from the a.y. 2014/15. All candidates for MDDP must prove adequate knowledge - according to language proficiency requirements of the Common European Framework - CEF. SGH-Students must have the following certifications to participate in the program: English B2 (or above) and the German B1 (or above) or German B2 (or higher) and English B1 (or above) UoC has the right to not accept a MDDP candidate from SGH because of important reasons.
Master Double Diploma Programme between Warsaw School of Economics and Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, University of Cologne (UoC) has been established in 2010, and is designed for students studying on:
- International Business (degree programme in English) at SGH,
- Zarządzanie (Management - degree programme in Polish) at SGH, and
- Master of Science in Business Administration at UoC.
The student receives two professional titles: SGH: „Master of Science in Management” or „Master of Science in International Business” depending on the study track the student is admitted to by the time of application for the double degree program UoC: „Master of Science in Business Administration”.
The intended period of study for the double degree program shall be two years (4 semesters). Double degree students will spend their first year at UoC, the second year at SGH. The language of studies at SGH is English (even at the Polish taught program in Management). All MDDP students have to be first accepted to degree studies at SGH or EUV to be able to carry out the double diploma.
Conditions for obtaining the double degree: The double degree shall only be awarded after the student has completed the program by fulfilling the following requirements: at UoC: the award of at least 60 ECTS credit points equivalent to the regulations constituted in this agreement, SGH: the award of at least 46,5 ECTS for the Major “Management”, equivalent to the regulations constituted in this agreement or the award of at least 45,5 ECTS for the Major “International Business”, equivalent to the regulations constituted in this agreement completion of a minimum of 4 weeks internship during the studies at SGH worth ECTS, completion of a Master thesis (24 ECTS) under the terms and conditions delineated in this agreement
