Field of study: Electrical Engineering Double Degree Programme
Specialization: Control in Electrical Power Engineering
DESCRIPTION ENTRY INFORMATION
The goal of the programme is to improve the quality of graduate-level education and training in the field of control engineering. It is focused on new and challenging issues of power system automation and control, modern protection and digital control systems used in electric power systems. The programme is split up into four semesters, including Master’s Thesis semester and 4-week industrial placement. Students may benefit from internships and prepare their graduate Master’s Thesis related to the topics agreed with our industrial partners.
Standard programme is based on full four semesters organized in Wroclaw University of Technology (WrUT). For the limited number of the best applicants there are options to join double degree (DD) programmes run together with Ryerson University (RU) in Toronto, Canada, and Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) in Cottbus, Germany. Double degree programmes assumes study first year at RU or BTU and second year at WrUT.
Faculty of Electrical Engineering joins tradition and innovation. Its high position is confirmed by the fact that its four professors hold the titles doctors honoris causa. In 2013 the Faculty has been recognised as the best Electrical Engineering Faculty in Poland by the Ministry of National Education.
Required: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Each application is assessed individually on its merits. If in doubt, please contact the Admission Office.
